Fred Barilla owns and operates Wild Memories Taxidermy in Carle Place, New York. Fred is the former President and Vice President for the New England Association of Taxidermists. He has been involved in competitive taxidermy for over 10 years and has captured numerous blue ribbons, WASCO Awards, Best of Category and Best of Show honors at various State and National Taxidermy competitions. Fred has earned his Award of Excellence from the National Taxidermists Association (NTA) and is widely recognized for his skills in incorporating Artistic Composition and Design in his taxidermy pieces.

Steve Hackett is owner of Trophy Room Taxidermy in Connecticut. He has been in business for over 17 years and is a full time studio. Steve has been doing competitions since 2001. He has won numerous awards in all categories, Including the WASO and Breakthrough awards. Steve also won the best reproduction fish at the 2010 Nationals. Steve was Vice President and President of theNew England Association of Taxidermists for 8 years, and has been judging for 3 years.
Dave Whitney
Gameheads, Mammals and Reptiles
Dave has been doing taxidermy for over 20 years. He has a shop located in Sherman CT. He has been a full-time police Detective in NY for 23 years and served over 20 years In the Marine Corp. The outdoors has been his passion, he loves to share that passion with my four children and friends. Dave has his NTA Award of excellence in Large & small mammals and reptiles. He is a lifetime certified judge (NTA and a life time member of the NTA and a member of the GSTA, NEAT He served as the president of the CT taxidermy association and as a board of director of NEAT. Dave has had the honor to receive the following awards: over 20 best of categories; two Breakthrough best of show; Polytransar; the Rayline award for large mammals; three Noonkasters boar awards; WASCO; four best all-around taxidermists; Best of show A/E & Masters; second place masters division for reptiles at the world show. He enjoys judging shows and giving seminars. lit is a small way to give back to the taxidermy family that has given him so much

9:00 am - 7:00 pm ...........................Registration open and competition entries accepted. No entries will be accepted after 7pm on Friday evening
9:00 am - 12:00 noon.......................SEMINAR - Habitat Lalapoluza Given by Officers and Board Members.
1:00 pm - 2:30 pm ..........................SEMINAR - Adam from Global Tanning will be giving a seminar on set-up of the fleshing machine and how to shave skinsproperly. Adam will answer any questions you may have about tanning.
3:00 pm - 5:30 pm. ........................SEMINAR - Steve Hackett will mount a common eider and do a quick habitat.
6:00 pm - 8:30 pm..........................Meet and great pool party at the pool. Music and Food
9:00. am ........................................General Membership meeting - nominations & Election
Immediately following general membership meeting mounts will be released. No mounts will leave before that time. We ask that all members please stay and help breakdown of backboards
